Who's the little boy on the bike? ;-) Enjoy!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
That's an early model, I like this model better. Facelift, shadowline, only the diamond black is missing.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I would want one! A later model 325i, diamond black, manual, oh yes please!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
the limit for the amount of posts here? It's been quiet for a couple of days...by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Well, that would be great. The plan is to keep the car and bring it back to as good as new, question is will it still be affordable to drive such a car in 18 years time?by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Hehe, we're lucky, our boy is a quiet one. He only makes noise when he's hungry, about three times at night. I then get up to change his diaper and hand it over to his mother. Other than being disturbed in my sleep a couple of times, I sleep well. At least, up to now, next Thursday I have to start work again, get up at 5:50 am, let's see how that works out...by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
She's from Sparta, Greece. Just kidding. The labour was without pain killers, the C-section was with an epidural.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I'm taking pictures all day! Only a week old and we can start spotting the differences day by day. It really is great, such a little wonder!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I haven't been very active here the last week, just quickly checking posts without taking part in them and for a good reason: I'm proud to announce that last week Wednesday our first child was born. One healthy male, 4 kg (8.8 lbs) heavy came to the world after twelve hours of pain killer free labour (proud of my girl!) followed by a cesarean, as our boy Daan was either to big or inby Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
That must have hurt. I see you now have a couple of temporary projects, which is good to fill the gaps. Just an idea, wouldn't it be possible for you do have some side-job (don't know how to say properly), something you can do outside of your projects, which could fill in the gap when a project is finished and looking for something else?by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Well, the BX isn't a simple car. It's suspension is quite different to what most other vehicles have, see here. I've always liked the fact that Citroën dares to do things differently, in design and mechanically. Though to complicated for average Joe, I like this.by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk
Seems like you're putting the ideas of Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano in Eduardo Souto Moura's buildings (hint: Centre Pompidou). I like this style of building, clean and sometimes a bit crazy. The golf course is worth a walk alone (I don't play golf), what a view!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Nice job, how long is your commute? If I would speed up mine by four times, it would still take just under 20 minutes and would contain quite boring parts.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
QuoteDave_G and when done correctly, should not involve any pain anywhere. Hmmm... I went karting with a couple of colleagues last Friday, I think every muscle in my back hurts. A couple in my arms as well, but that's partly from working in the garden on Saturday.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
The bullet holes are for the self tapping screw holding the camouflage panels to the actual bodywork. The red condom is to keep it from mating and creating even uglier offspring.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Oh man! If you would ever need to get rid of the sign, I'm a candidate! It would fit perfectly in my garage (a bit barn-like).by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I just put a screwdriver in my caliper before removing the old pads and force the piston back in.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Are you sure you pushed the piston back completely? I remember it sometimes took a little more effort to push the last millimeter in.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Send some rain this way, it's been dry since weeks, apart from the little bit that came down last week. The garden could use it!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Spark plug wire, the obvious one. Who hasn't missed upon that one at some time? When I cut my lawn for the first time three weeks ago, the lawnmower would start up at once but it seemed as if the choke remained on and it died after about a minute. I was ready to go yell STUPID CARBURETTOR and stuff, took off the air cleaner and found the air cleaner gasket to be in front of the air intaby Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Haven't seen a muffler actually explode yet. This week I was driving behind a colleague in his 1986 Volvo 240 Turbo (converted to LPG). Suddenly his ignition stopped and unburned LPG kept flowing through the engine. A nice BANG, a large flame out of the exhaust and some black smoke scared a lot of drivers.by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk
We didn't have the required strength in stock and the car had to be repaired as quick as possible.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
That's twice as much as mine (which has barely ran in the last year) has! Congrats!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
That sucks. Today at work we got the thread out of a weld-nut inside a chassis beam (the one that holds the subframe). We'll have to cut open the chassis beam from the inside and replace the nut...by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
What's the title of the song and where can I buy the CD?by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
What a dumb *ss... That metal has liquified, not crystalised! And as he says it, all cars should have the nuts tightened to the same amount of torque? And isn't torque expressed in Nm or ft-lb instead of psi?by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk
And if brakes squeal: try some copper grease on the back plate. Just a tiny bit!by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
