$ 7.10 / US gal (€ 1.35 / liter) here in Belgium, and that's for diesel, which is cheaper. Those Turkish boys have a worse time: € 1.826 / liter ($ 9.61 / US gal) for gasoline.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum

Certain body parts should shrink a lot before I ever buy one of these (not a fan of the whole SUV/SAV kind of thing).by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Thanks, that's about the way he does it, he says he gets far in shrinking it but wants it perfectly. That site is where he works, he's the sole mechanic there. At the moment he's prepping the cars for the season, then he'll be able to get back to the real stuff.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
That was a nice touring, like it in that colour. Ever since I crashed my iX when wanting to do some upgrades, I've been very careful just before and after doing maintenance on my cars. A little superstitious?by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Quoterkj One thing that makes a repair more difficult is when an owner punches things back in to shape so the car can be driven; stretching the metal and making the repair harder, but metal can be shrunk back in to place, even thin later model stuff (I'm a restorer of older cars usually with much thicker metal) like on our cars. Next time you post a message as the one above my reply, could you start in this way: You've reached the BMW E30 Network Helpdesk, my name is Ferdinand, how can I help you?by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
You clean and dry the location where you think it is leaking, spray/blow/brush over the chalk and after a short run, you'll see where the chalk is wet. Don't wait to long as the water can creep in the chalk. Afterwards you just wash it off.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
How about using some chalk (or similar) to find the source of the leak first? Make sure the engine is dry before you start putting it on, then run the engine just for a little while to get it leaking and check for the leak.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

Quoterkj Too bad we, as a civilization, haven't learned much in the last 100 years. Western civilisation? That would be a good idea! Disappointing, isn't it? We think we are so good, but we aren't. Just by reading some old engineering stuff, I'm convinced certain people 100-150 year ago did more innovating inventions than they do now. And that's just in enginby Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
QuoteArcheo-peteriX What I find most interesting is that it isn't religious extremists and this in countries that are predominantly Muslim! These are regular people just like us who have had all they can stomach of their governments...they want change and know that voting isn't going to make it happen. Could you email this to Mr Bush? Here = Belgium (it still exists at this very moment), or Europe, if you want to. To bad diesels are so environmentally unfriendly, even in the cleanest form, I like them to drive in our busy traffic and it's the cheapest way for me to get moving without compromising boot space for an LPG tank.by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk
VW Touareg comes in diesel too here, up to a V10. If the current Mini is to small for you, check the original! Did you get E46 diesels in the US? And! Most important! Never buy before you've driven it! It's a damn lot of money to spend on the wrong thing.by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk

How about the airflow meter? Could it be a bit sticky?by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Spot on. The governments should focus on (efficient!) mass transport, taking away as much private circulation as possible. All vehicle taxes could be canceled and fuel prices raised a lot, so people would become really aware of the environmental problem. (and if you'd own a Ferrari you'd take out twice a year, it wouldn't cost as much as it does now in my little country)by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I sometimes would prefer google.com instead of google.be. Maybe Jose should just write down the forum's phone number and go directly from there instead of checking the phone book.by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk
I'm currently paying 1.22 € for a liter of diesel (and that's a cheaper pump, 1.358 € according to a petrol station site), petrol prices are 1.50-1.60 €/l for 95-98 RON. Going 1100 kms/week, it costs quite a bit!by Michiel 318iS - Car Talk

Halfway through the text I thought - just by the look of the words - that it started to resemble Dutch. The further I got, the more I found it turned into German until I saw it was the meaning of this whole thing.
