I could use some of this myself. My current daily driver is a Mercedes Benz 250D (for the american readers, it is a w124 powered by a 5 cylinder normally aspirated diesel engine. It came new in 1988 with external thermometer, but the LCD display has gone bad a long time ago. I have an extra cluster, cause the odometer quit, and I am planing to do one good cluster from the two partially broken

The reason for the existence of that part is to avoid transmission vibration and noise. If the part is not flexible, any vibration will not be filtered. Any experiences form people using that modification?

Finally went to see the thing. IT is located at a small garage, packed with other BMWe30 models, some being parted, others being rebuilt. There was a very good 4 door 318i, the daily driver of the owner parked at the door. There was also a mint 1989 Cabrio under a cover, in showroom shape. The touring was sitting there,the rear cargo space packed with separate parts. Interior seems correct,

I am searching those kind of app, cause my ex-taxi odometer quit counting a while back and i would like to have something doing just that function, from a tablet or my phone. My old car has no OBD, so no engine data can be displayed.

I wnt through 3 sets of Continental Premiumcontact in my Benz, they work very well, the only "complain" I have is they wear out quickly. I have a Mabor set in now, suppose those are not available in the US, is a Portuguese brand that was bought by Continental Group. If your happy with the Michelin, I would say stick to it, unless they are utterly expensive or no longer available.

There is always some gear, when the ratio is 1, they have same dimension, number of teeth. Is a common practice to tow manual cars with wheels rolling, in neutral, with not much damage apparently. A manual gear box can actually run without oil in it for a while, before failure. and even so, the failure may be in just one gear and possible to be repaired by a skilled mechanic. The automatics

Apparently the automatic transmission never disengages from the transmission, unlike manual transmission when in neutral. Manual transmission output shaft spins freely, when in neutral. So the automatic, even in N, have the internal parts working as the car was being driven, which causes friction, and holds back the car when it's towed.
