Quoterkj What I meant was fuel injection hose is built to withstand the line pressures of the fuel injection, where as regular fuel hose is for lower pressure systems like carburetor or lawn mowers... Fuel pressure is no big deal, 35psi or 2.4 bar, about the same you put in your tires for the highway.by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
Quotesdp Oops 25.4mm not 254. Maybe apple pi(e). Today is 3.14, the Pi day!by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
Quotealanrw OK, 8mm = .314" 5/16"= .310" close enough!!!!! alan Those fractions make my head hurt... The 8mm hose, considering the tolerance, should be good from 7.6mm up to 8.4mm, or more considering it stretches a bit. On a rubber hose, the third decimal place means nothing in reality.by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
Quoterkj QuoteJohn Yust Quotealanrw Rick, did it come with a silk ascot? congrats, enjoy it. alan - ascot, that's funny. Looks like you really scored, Rick. John I'm totally rethinking my outfits these days Maybe you will turn into a Teddy Boylan, with the new car and all...by Jose Pinto - Car Talk
Quoterkj QuoteArcheo-peteriX 1938 Cord? Nope, but you're close on the year Peter. It was my brothers car and he did the painting. The split screen design tells it's from late '30 or early '40, but I don't know that much about American cars from that era to guess.by Jose Pinto - Car Talk
The flexibility of the hose will make no difference if it's metric or not, just make sure you use proper clamps. An e30 should be now going through the 3rd or 4th set of rubber tubes and o-rings. While in there, you may want to check. There are some rubber o-rings at the fuel pressure regulator and injectors, make sure there are no traces of gas coming from there. It's an expensive aby Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
Quoterkj That must have been a nice one. I think a 5 series is the most I can go; we are 2002/3 series people! The 5 feels like a real luxo wagon I have two to look at tomorrow.... Rick Perhaps you may consider a newer 1 series, back to the roots? You feel like you need a large car, but once your used to a smaller one it feels just rigt. Wow! That hit could be serious. Is it normal to run so close together or it was due to being a long stage?by Jose Pinto - Community Forum

We had one of those, the BMW600, from my mother in law (this is a factory picture). It is an enlarged Isetta, two doors (one in front like the Isetta, other to the right side for the rear seat), rear engine air-cooled flat, twin cyl. We had to sell caus it was very rot and would be lost before I could restore it.by Jose Pinto - Car Talk
By "slow as hell" you mean the delay switching chanels? Digital boxes do that. Also the boradcast comes with a delay, watching football you hear some neighbour yell "goaaaalll!!!!" when the player is runing to get the ball... That is due to the digital decoding, it takes time, when the analog broadcast was almost instant. There is value for the acurate time on the box, ifby Jose Pinto - Community Forum

New digital boxes use the time from the network they log into, very useful to select the record times of your favorite stuff. DVD? Don't you have a zillion chances, video on demand, etc? Do you have time to watch DVD as well as cable TV?! Over here I end up not having any time to watch TV, and watching recorded stuff from the internet latter on... More channels just takes more time tby Jose Pinto - Community Forum
QuoteFerdinand SS7 - BlueSea/Bouchette 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ekubp0TKChc I was hoping that, immediately after finishing Farley, Martin would pull over to scoop all the snow out of his radiator, as that would have given me an opportunity to scoop all the snow out of my boots. Instead we first did the transit to the start of BlueSea/Bouchette and only then hopped out. In the meantby Jose Pinto - Community Forum
A full tank is the most desired extra one can have in a car! If I was to fill up at current prices it would cost me about 125€. In such case, couldn't you remove gas from the tank, with a siphon or something? There was no time for that?by Jose Pinto - Community Forum

Quoterkj Hi Gerbrandt, Nice 318, great color. Stick I think, right? I'm trying to think if I've ever seen one in an auto box.. Nice to see old members come home, welcome back Cheers, Rick Now that you mention, the only automatic e30 I ever saw was a 1992 316i Touring. It was for sale back in the time I was shopping for my BMW e30. I guess automatic e30 are very rare over hereby Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Can't help you with anything cause I never had a cabrio myself, but I would love to see some pictures of yours. Please...by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
Perhaps the industry will evolve in other direction. Cars are not selling anymore like they used to. The industry will do something about it, perhaps they will offer simpler and economical cars to pick up again. OPr the market will reward those wo move that way and forget the rest, but make no mistake, there will be no more 2002 or e30 ever. That was a unique era of our history.
