Don't know how an S-10 drives, what it costs or who's liking it, I just regret getting the iX out of the garage the day I crashed it. The US-ies say there's no substitute for CI's, I'd say there's no substitute for iX's! Keep it or I'll ask Rick to put it on his boat and sail it over here!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum

Here too, there's fungus showing up in the lawn, getting colder at night (turned up the heating yesterday for the first time this year). Fruit is falling from the trees and farmers start to get the crop in.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum

Well, let me make the decision: the iX stays, no matter how much you like the S-10! (and if you don't listen to me, I'll come and pick up the iX and drive it to Belgium myself!)by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

English, German, French, Dutch, whatever, just don't sell your iX! Unless you let us buy it. (group buy anyone?)(oh yeah, I've got the room to store it dry) Still miss my iX! And I was reacting to the Z1 Earendil didn't know of yet.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

Or the entire car. Or is that a to military look? Chalk flowers and peace signs on it. Or racing stripes. Offensive messages. Philosophical stuff.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Fuel smell... Had that on mine after a warm start ever since I replaced the fuel pump. Never found the cause. Was thinking of leakage at the pump side connection but the access panel should seal enough to keep that out and the smell was definitely in the interior. Are you sure it is a fuel problem? Does the car drive OK under hard acceleration? Could be an intake leak as well though thatby Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
You'd have to be lucky to find exact matching colours. Even within the BMW colour name, there will be differences, depending on the moment the car was painted. The best match will be when the paint shop has your paint tailormade (and they do so every time, if they do it right). Wanted to suggest to fold it as well. A little better might be to swap the bad hood with the good one, and fold the bad one. Fender and trunk lid should go in, just take some old blankets with you. There should be no difference in 2/4 door parts, in my opinion.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Sounds like it's a lot cheaper over there! Had to pay € 430 (once) to get the license plates on my E46, just to get it onto my name. Insurance is about € 600 yearly.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
Had to pay € 280 yearly for the E30. The E46 will be a bit more.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum

Mine hasn't even reached 250.000 km (240something) and it's been put to rest. Mainly because I'll have to cover some 50.000 km yearly now and I'd like to keep the E30 for many more years.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
It was 55°C when I was in Death Valley, 13 years ago. Food was served with salt chips, the car overheated on a slight slope. Loved it! Especially the skies at night, never imagined being able to see so many stars!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I haven't been online a lot the last couple of weeks (bought a house and we're having some work to do), the few times I've checked, not much had happened here. I just hope that it's a good summer for all of you, with little time to loose in front of the computer screen.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
