D'oh!
That should have read 'lume'; it's the electro phosphorescent paint on the hands and dial The read thing is the remains of a flower stalk. I suppose it could be called the 'fruit' but I doubt it's edible by anything. Most fall off the tree while green then dry out and go black; turning into shrapnel when caught by the lawn mower As for what it looks like; I leave up to your fertile imagination Edited 1 time(s).
