So I'm in Safeway (a grocery store) today when I hear the intercom come on and announce: "could [insert name] come to the phone for a code 1221".
My immediate thought was that somebody had an exhaust problem... Should I seek help? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 - E30 - M20 - Manual. Approximately 270,000 miles 2000 - E46 - M52TUB28 - Manual. Approximately 110,000 miles |

For you and anyone else who happens across this thread. It's possible to read a few fault codes from the computer on an E30. A code of 1221 is an Oxygen sensor fault, a very common one. More info and other codes can be found here. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 - E30 - M20 - Manual. LOL! One of the few things I remember from The Dark Night (Batman movie) is that there is an E32 in one of the street shots. Let's arrange group therapy! |

The film "Love Actually" has an E30 in a street scene. I think the beemie was parked in front of a jewelry shop. Naturally. That's where I would park too. K |
