Service Indicator Reset

Well, I sold my 84 e30 several years ago. It had come to the end of the road. Paint was going, starting to have gremlins. It being the most fun car I ever owned, I just did the only thing I could, I purchased another one.1984 E30 in pristine condition same paint color a virtual timepiece. It is an automatic but I will adapt.

Anyways,I recall a photo of the service indicator reset plug which could be jumped to reset the SI. Anyone recall which 2 holes are cross connected with a momentary switch to reset the SI?

Connect pin 7 to pin 19 and turn on the ignition to position 2 (run, not start). When the service lights go out, turn off the ignition. Should take about 8 to 10 seconds.
If held on longer it will reset the inspection interval.

I ended up connecting pin7 to a body ground.That cleared it.
