Thanks bob I agree that she's running very rich. I've located one other sensor. It's off a 1986 325e. When I plug that one in she just dies right after it starts up. Today I noticed that the ground cable was pretty frayed in the center, so I replaced it with a battery cable.. still runs like ****. I'll see if I can crack the sensor that I currently have on it (the one that waby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum
Hey guys, so I have a sort of interesting problem going on with my 88 325i. It ran and drove pretty fine before, but I recently crashed into a deer going about 50.. Bent things in up front pretty well. I've replaced the engine fan and clutch, and straightened out the radiator fins so it works fine. Disconnected the belt to the A/C. The car hardly runs with the airflow sensor plugged in, iby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum
Sad but true my enthusiast brothers. I myself am looking to get rid of the E30, (don't tell her though), the cost of fuel is just spiraling out of control; not to mention the random problems of an old ass car that slowly affect fuel economy. It kills me, but she has to go. I'll never rid myself of E30 love though, I'm on my seventh and I'm still not satisfied but thatby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Car Talk

QuoteFlyboy Bob is right, it would involve more than simply removing the transfer pump. The way I would approach the task is to replace the in tank pump with the high pressure pump from one of the later models that only had the one pump, the high pressure pump in the tank. Thus doing away with the transfer pump and moving the high pressure pump into the tank. This would be the simpliest way toby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum
Hey guys, quick question; Has anyone heard about the fuel pump delete for E30s with the duel pumps? I've read about it but can't find the procedure online, anyone know? My "main" pump isn't receiving power while my sender pump is reading low on volts, despite replacing it, so i suspect wiring faults. And so I figured I'd reduce my pump number to one.by bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum

QuoteMichiel 318iS And what's that racing stripe on the right rear light? How much extra hp does that bring? Racing stripe? Trick of the light? Well hello hello again. I think the only times I post here anymore is whenever I pick up a new beauty, followed by the "why the f*** is the (blank) doing (blank)/what's wrong with my (blank)?" But yes, I've done it again. Inga was getting tired so I sold her to a friend who has a parts car who can help. AND VOILA; lucky number 7. My 1984 325es. I knoby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Car Talk
I hate how irregularly I post here, gotta remember to do it more often. But of course, I have another strange problem. My friend's IX met its end last month vs a tree, unfortunately she wasn't going to negotiate that corner sideways as well as he had hoped. We're hoping to get it running again in the spring but it'll be a chore. NOW TO THE POINT; I've recentlby bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum
Hey guys, long time no post. Unfortunately my beloved 325is had an unfortunate rallying adventure with a tree, and so she's just sitting while I complete the paperwork to go off to basic. My best friend (who is planning to buy her for parts) has recently picked up an 88 325ix with 160k. It was a steal of a deal and I personally oversaw the transaction but she needs a bit of help.by bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Technical Forum
It's a beauty, I especially love those wheels. Mmm. I could never make mine into a rolling chalkboard though, I'd be too afraid of someone going a bit overboard. Yeah, he really looks better in the sun but these are the best photos I have right now. I actually ran over the camera a few months ago. Don't ask. Sophie eh? I like that. Oh my good lord, it's been a long time since I've been back to the forums. I knew it was down a while ago and I have to say, I was distraught for answers. Then I ran across this new incarnation after googling engine swaps and my heart lifted. And this time, I'll finally post a couple images of my beloved Anderson Cooper 16.by bam_loves_his_bmw_325i - Community Forum
