I didn't know what it was at first until I root the rotor back off and looked at the adapter in horror. Here is what I'm talking about, # 7 I hadn't even tightened anything. Hey Guys and Girls I'm testing a "new sending unit" with a meter (I'm in the ohm scale for now). It shows (in the car, on the dash gauge) thats its either on or off; full or empty. I hooked the sending unit up to the wires and moved the arm and between 1/2 and 7/8 the needle on the guage moves from full to empty. question one, can I test a sending unit with an ohmby rkj - Technical Forum

Quotewodcutr In order to comment I would have to see the whole interview. I do know that the liberal media hates Fox News and have been known to take things out of context and make a mountain out of a mole hill. The risers (the mechanism that raises and lowers the window) are bent rigid metal tubes 1/2 inch in diameter that have sunroof type screw (spiral) cables in them that get turned by the motor; one direction up and the other way for down. There is a threaded dog that rides up and down on this cable and runs up and down via a open channel in the tube, full length. A fairly clever set-up but prone toby rkj - Technical Forum

QuoteBob in Everett I sealed my tail light with black silicon on both sides of the new gasket and still had water. The source was capillary action under the gasket for the lid. I took it off and cleaned out the old sealant and replaced it using some Plumbers putty from the hardware store and most of the water issue went away. Quotewodcutr Update - I took everything out of the trunk well and I could not find any D shaped area where there would have been a whole to drain the well. The way the car sits the lowest point of the well is right under the jack and there is not any indication of a hole ever being there. I could drill one, but that seems dumb if I can eliminate the source of water. The sunroof drain was conneby rkj - Technical Forum
Use the anti-seize compound, just make sure you mix it before every use. That stuff settles overnight You're using the grease (heavy as possible or the antiseize for two reasons; 1- keeping the carbon from walking up the threads and causing striping and 2 plugs are steel and the head is alloy= dissimilar metals, they tend to get horny and like eachother too muchby rkj - Technical Forum
QuoteArcheo-peteriX Quotewodcutr QuoteArcheo-peteriX Quotedaniel Is your trunk seal OK? I know the sunroof has gutters, too, but I am not exactly sure where they go. The sun roof has 4 drain holes. Hey Dan There are many ways water gets into the trunk but lets say, for now, its the taillight. Have you tried to R&R it, bend the tabs back in place, fix the rust and seal it; I use rope caulk plus the gasket, use the dum dum next to the body side. Works wonderful. There are drain holes on some years and they've blocked them on others. Rickby rkj - Technical Forum

Kelly, NGK plugs are what you want and forget about the nut on the wheel, its the nut behind the wheel thats important Don't forget to coat the threads, even grease will do; keeps the carbon from walking up the threads and blowing out the plug wells is a good thing before you start pulling the plugs (have some solvent in case they're tight coming out; DON'T rush it), can air isby rkj - Technical Forum
