Aloha, long time no see, hope everyone is well. Posting update as I been trying to find the cause of "random no start when hot" condition. The problem was a crimp connector on YL/BK wire under steering column, probably for p.o. alarm system. It seems that the one strand of wire left was enough to send signal to starter when cold, not so when wire got hot. It's been a weekby fporro - Technical Forum

I'll also add that they do clear Racing Dynamics headers, mounting hardware includes washers in case you are not utilizing a skid plate. Aloha Friday, Just added http://masonengineering.net/Subpages/E30.htm"]Mason's steel cross brace to my 87 iC, had to remove and do slight modification to ;]e30motorwerks skid plate. Basically a little trimming and drilled new mounting holes for it to latch onto cross brace. Mason recommended steel for cabrios, others chassis will do fine with aluminum. Aloha Friday, For the last few days my 87 325iC had an intermittent engine hick-up, eventually cutting off completely. Fuse 11 did not have power while cranking, so checked - main relay connections, OK. - fuel pump relay connections, OK. - fuel pump test by jumping relay, OK. So proceeded to CPS, readings were not within range of .500 to .600ohms. as specified. Swapped CPS,by fporro - Technical Forum
