QuoteDave_G Quotedaniel the only part i wasnt too sure about was the "viewing options" part, where it gave the option of flat, threaded, or hybrid. i figured hybrid was the correct option so that people could choose their preference, yes? Actually, most people will probably use the flat view, but it doesn't matter, because it seems that each user's personal preferences overrid

Quotewodcutr Quotedaniel Quotewodcutr Nice ride...I like your old rims better. What made you decide to change them? I am drooling over that s52! you like those 6 spoke wheels more than the basketweaves??? ewwww i decided to change them because i think they are hideous. along with that, the weaves are 16x8 and are BMW wheels, while the MOMO's are 16x7.5. i will gladly sell them to you

QuoteDave_G Quotedaniel will you temporarily adopt me so I can participate in some of these darn things? Nonsense, get out there and do it yourself! No need for any adoptions! First thing, go here: Oregon Rally Group. Find a friend and go participate in some TSD rallies, which are relatively tame, low-speed, low-cost events, but provide a good introduction to rallying. I've never done a true

QuoteArcheo-peteriX Agreed, discussions of this type have never gotten out of hand and nearly always prove educational. If Tyler does have a Mac: which is a superior machine to any Windows setup; he probably does hear much better sound than on something else. I don't know what the state of the art in sound cards for Windows machines is these days but there used to be some pretty awesom

QuoteEarendil QuoteDave_G iTunes is evil. There are better audio software packages for your computer, and MUCH better places to purchase downloads. If anyone cares for an opinion on the other side of the educated bias, feel free to PM me. Otherwise, I think I'll keep my gasoline soaked opinions away from the sparks I see flying. We wouldn't want to end up with any flames in our nic

QuoteFerdinand Quotedanielany pictures of the bimmer? Any time I had to stop at a checkpoint, get out and run back to retrieve a timing sticker, I'd give my tail lights a wipe. The snow whipping up behind the car would completely cover everything. This is a shot taken by one of the checkpoint workers. i can't imagine doing a rally like that in the daytime, much less at night!

if you do end up looking into buying an mp3 player to store lossless tracks, you probably want to steer clear of the ipod (except for the ipod touch). the sound quality of other mp3 players is significantly better than the normal ipod.

this is a pretty extreme approach, but it has crossed my mind. i am sure i am over-simplifying things anyway. legalize all drugs, but place a moderate tax on them. the market for formerly illegal drugs will be flooded by new producers, and the price will plummet. the people who are totally crazy about doing drugs will probably end up dying (not a good thing, but it reduces the amount of peo

QuoteArcheo-peteriX QuoteGaute Man, I'm glad i live in Stavanger! We're a small community, compared to most normal US cities. Population is just above 110.000. Murders are extremely rare. We had one (I think) last year. You are lucky B) The problem here is that we have one of the worlds major sea ports and share a border with on of the worlds largest drug using countries. This sim

QuoteEarendil After a little run in on the interwebs with good ol' Daniel, and much to Archeo's chagrin I'm sure, I have found this place yet again :-) On two separate trips from Maple Valley to Spokane WA, about 287 mi (462km) I have managed exactly 24.5 mpg in my 1989 325i. This is archived going over Snoqualmie pass, doing at least 75mph for 280 miles. There, that is my f

QuoteDave_G For those of us old enough to have grown up with LP collections that took up entire shelves, it's really cool to have all that music and more on something about the size of a pack of gum. B) i can imagine. I am a music collector myself, so I buy a lot of CDs. They take up a lot of room, but i can't imagine having all those albums on vinyl instead!

you can add or remove songs from any mp3 player. that is the beauty of them compared to a burnt cd. what program do you use, if any, to listen to music on your computer? also, how much music do you have?
