If that is your only concern I don't think you would ever feel it. I think the bushing might feel a little stiff or soft for the first mile or so and then the bushing would just twist the last little bit on the shaft and seat itself where it wants to be. Normally when bushings are bad they are really soft and give sort of a pulsing feel when braking. You may notice some other things likeby Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
Andrew, the easy way to answer that for yourself is to read either the installation manual or look at what the other side of that switch is connected to. If the installer connected it to ground you will be find just connecting it to the switch near the brake handle itself.by Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
The only problem is that you need to know if that wire needs to be grounded or needs 12v. I would guess that it gets grounded since most car companies ground the light to make it come on, but just in case, make sure before you just connect it. If you need 12v you will either have to locate the 12v wire going to the bulb or put a relay in place to connect it properly.by Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
Well, a big part of it is the ESP. I never had trouble driving my e30 in the snow, even with some pretty beat up performance tires (I did have two 45lb weights in the trunk) but you have to be gradual with speed changes etc. On the other hand, I was driving my e60 545i the other day with DSC and it is like the other cars you describe. You can just slam the pedal to the floor and the DSC will tby Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
I think it just depends on the particular battery. I remember being surprised how much more expensive the one for my jeep was than the one for my range rover which was twice its size.by Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
Well, the Gel Cells are actually quite different than the regular batteries but the best part about Gel Cells is their ability to be tipped at extreme angles like boating or off-roading (and I think they have a greater power/size ratio). Obviously this isn't a concern for you in your 325, so personally I would just save the money and get a regular battery. I am partial to Interstates myselby Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
That's terrible! In the US you are supposed to report ANY accident to the police and the insurance companies use the report to fight it out amongst themselves. That is one nice thing, although the drivers are most certainly a lot worse here!by Andy 90 325i - Community Forum
I tend to agree with Peter. I don't see any reason it should make a difference as long as the two ends are the same diameter etc. to seat correctly. The lower spring rate coils should compress first regardless. That being said, I would put it back together the way the book says.by Andy 90 325i - Community Forum
Peter, your weather found its way here...it has been below zero for two days now, and I don't think it is going to warm up anytime soon. You know its bad when you walk into a 10 degree freezer at a food distributor and it feels warm compared to outside!by Andy 90 325i - Community Forum

Hey, I found you guys too...looks like you moved around a few times before settling! Good to see the new forum up and running. Great job Dave! I like this new forum even better than the last iteration of BEN. I wonder how many of us are on facebook? We should all get together on there. I could only guess which Ernest is you, so I thought we could just post links to our own facebook pagesby Andy 90 325i - Community Forum
Yeah, I was going to say. If you don't have them, you could install them. Probably a lot more work and $$ than it is worth. I did find out the other day though that lock-thaw works really well and really fast! I couldn't get into my Defender because it was so frozen, a quick shot of that and the lock started to work with even more ease than ever (I guess it has some lubrication propby Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum

Peter and RKJ both have good ideas. If neither of those works for you, you could always drill the center and stick an ez-out in there.by Andy 90 325i - Technical Forum
