OK, let me tell you something here. Rotors do warp. It creates steering wheel nibble and judder. Don't expect to be able to measure at home, it is in the order of µm (micrometer). Sometimes left and right phase out each other, sometimes they amplify each other, depending on the position of both wheels relative to each other. Wether you can feel them in your steering wheel depends on theby Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
Bosch W8LCR / W8LPR (+) ; NGK ZGR5A .028"- .032" (0.7 - 0.8 mm) The steering wheel locking nut has a plastic ring in it, preventing it from getting loose. Honestly, I never bothered to replace that one after removal, as long as you feel the plastic part is still keeping it from getting loose.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
And if that doesn't help, replace them. You wouldn't want anyone of your loved ones to be injured in a crash (even a mild one), due to not having properly working seatbelts.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum
That's great. There a similar pictures around, you need to be real good at drawing things this way, as you need to put in perspective. View it from a different angle and it looks completely different.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
No way that is 350 kph, can't believe that. And you're plain stupid to drive this fast with just one hand at the wheel. And why does he hit the rev limiter all the time? Is he even wearing a belt? I've seen quite a number of Turkish movies, there's some crazy people over there!by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
I see no reason why (unless the engine is stone cold, but that is for any engine). If it was harmfull, it was inhibited in the engine's calibration. VW's 1.9 TDI runs very well below 2000 rpm, which usually is my shift point in that car (my gf has a VW Touran), good acceleration with good economy.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

Or some freedom won back? I'm not such a fan of just anyone being able to watch in your back yard. Thiefs can just have a look if you have a trampoline when they want to come around your neighbourhood to pick one up. I like the map part of the tool, the satellite view should be limited: private property shouldn't have too much detail (not such a fan of street view either).by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum

That's what happens when people are being called adult too soon. In my country, you're an adult when you're 18. You can drive, vote, drink (as of 16, just as smoking), anything you want to, you are responsible. Even when I was 18, I thought this was too young. You learn so much in those three years. Engines with knock sensors advance spark all the time, until the sensor detects (just slight) knock. Then it retards spark and advances it again, gradually. These engines knock once in a while, just for a very short time. Changing octane grade will not change the amount of knock in these engines, it will only shift the spark timing window.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

Depends on how important you think it is to go after the hit and run driver. Personally I'm in a law suit over a traffic crime I didn't commit (aggression), last week I had a true incident (somebody was blocking me when I wanted to change lanes and tailgating me such that I couldn't even see his headlights). Looks like we share the same likes and dislikes for the E36. A thing that is not available on the E30's is the recirculation, but I would only use that in tunnels, which I usually don't encounter on my journeys.by Michiel 318iS - Technical Forum

You should go for 245/35ZR16 if you want to keep about the same circumference (or total tyre height). If you go for 245/40ZR16, you'll have about stock circumference (compared to 205/55R15), but it might rub in your wheelarches.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
We've had two weeks of frost, up to -20°C during the night, mostly around -10°C or slightly lower, day temperatures were about the same. The old E30 only does 5 km twice a day during the week and cranked and started without issues (on the coldest night the engine turned over just an extra two turns before firing). A lot of colleagues had to stay off a day because their car let them down.by Michiel 318iS - Community Forum
