Like said above, used is the option, and is not easy to find the exact color in good shape. You may as well find the complete set in good shape, that may be an option to have all seat equal and o.e.m.. Other option is have the seats re-made by hand, that can be expensive, but the seat will be like new. Good luck!by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum
The non-google users may be missing out the point... The game was so simple, yet so addicting! I witnesses the move of games from the arcades to home PC, and the first protable games (nothing compared to game-boy os PSP). Perhaps the younger will never understand those things, and let's wait another 30 years to see what entertainment turns out.by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Hi Rick! The government is subsidizing the move to battery-electric cars, so here they are! There have always been battery-electric vehicles, but now is time...by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Intermitent problems are very annoying. Those are often caused by bad contacts, aged wiring and connectors, rusted terminals, you name it. Most places to look were described above, better is to keep the battery charge up with the external charger, and keep the battery jumper cables in the trunk, to be on the safe side. Those roads look good, very clean and pleasant. And you made 7th overall, first from your class, only half minute after the subarus! Keep up the good racing.by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
I tend to check on the plugs often, like every 5000Km or so, or whenever the engine hesitates or stalls when idle. The engine burns oil, I take the greasy plugs, brush them and put back in, or replace if they look too bad. I never had problems with the threads, much less a jumping plug! Good luck!by Jose Pinto - Technical Forum

Cars came a long way since the 80s, there are no bad new cars, and prices are better than, say, 10 years ago. An uncle of mine had a Nissan 280C (also called Cedric or Gloria), back then. (just some picture from the web) It had a straight six diesel engine, RWD, very good car for the time, match for the MB300D or BMW524d, if you don't mind the design... Hi Peter! I will check in here more often, now it works. As for trains, i do a 80Km daily commute by train, as i couldn't possibly afford the fuel to do so on any road vehicle i could get... And yes, my 23 year old car still goes, sometimes stronger, sometimes not so much... I do Viana do Castelo - Porto, and back. QuoteEarendil An article on the Northwest (US) E30 picnic was just run in the November issue of Performance BMW, a European mag. On page 2 is a great shot of daniel's E30. And his paint job doesn't look half bad from that angle Here is a link to a pdf version of the article: Upon further looking, the corner of his car shows up on the 3rd page as well. "DIY" ?! And he claimed he went home and back to get the camera and take better pictures... It would be even more amusing if he called road assistance to pull the thing from under the car for him... B)by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Good one Ferdinand! Is the black 325 somewhat conserved, or just parked there outside? Over here it wouldn't be too expensive to rustproof and paint it, perhaps labour is way more expensive where you live. OTH, the red car looks really great and is a bit newer. I saw one of those vans some time ago, it was a regular Opel van, with several cameras mounted on the roof rack.by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Google (street view) has pictures of my car parked in front of work. How cool is that?! google People from another company i usually deal with noticed and told me, just took a time to post today. Mine is the silver Citroen parked under a tree shade.by Jose Pinto - Community Forum

Good! And you left the rust-pot go... Problem with old cars (having one now, and had several before...) is unless you really like the car, you will soon regret you bought it facing the costly repairs due to keep it running safely. Good luck with the 2-stroke -2wheel!by Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Hi Ferdinand! Took me a while to go through all those videos... The car looks great! I looks new, ant the stickers are tastefully located, well done! And I don't like red cars much... Great driving, lots of calculation and timing, sounds lots of fun with your family. Keep those great stories and movies coming! Great project, you get fitness and transportation, and save money all at once! The thing about bicycle is you can go as fast or as slow as you want, you may feel some pain at first, if you haven't ride for a while. Over here, bikes can be carried free on trains, together with the owner. Vandalism sucks. Thieves I understand their point, my Boss found his new MB on two AMG wheels and a jack the other morning. It still sucks, but at least you know somebody got his fix that day. JPby Jose Pinto - Community Forum
Good to know you are moving forward with your life! However, if you feel underpaid or away from your field of expertise, you should keep searching. As for the pickup, is it a requirement for the job? You will be hauling stuff daily or often? Maybe you can keep the current car, and borrow your employer's truck when or if you need to haul something.
