I've always found the product ratings on PCworld to be accurate and helpful. I would say, just buy whatever one is on top of the chartby ec437 - Community Forum
QuoteFerdinand Quoteec437So which car is my diff living in? The differential was intended for the black 86 325e. But I never got around to installing it. It's still in its shipping crate. The black car has since been retired. There are just too many rust issues plaguing it. It would have cost a lot to beat back the rust for a few more years. For nearly the same amount of money, I bby ec437 - Community Forum
QuoteFerdinand Early this spring there were lots of reports of people seeing the Google mapping vans cruising the streets of Ottawa. I really wanted to see one of those in action. Instead, I had my back turned when the Google car snuck past behind me and snapped a shot of my butt! Ha! So which car is my diff living in? It was you that bought that, right?by ec437 - Community Forum
Quoterkj Oh that's right, no scooter parts... crap. Cables are really easy to make if you have something to work with. The trick is to spread the strands out on the outside of the barrel (or the end on the cable end) and solder away, with the heat on the cable itself, a little ahead of the barrel end. Any good motorcycle shop will have the stuff to make up a cable; ends and cable matby ec437 - Community Forum
Quoterkj Quoteec437 Well I'm now the owner of a moped. It's a simple 2-stroke, 49 cc's and pushing 4 horses It isn't ridable yet though. I have to wait until tomorrow to order a throttle cable from the honda dealer. (...assuming they can still get me one!) You might try Bikebandit if the dealer falls short. Alas, the cable has been discontinued and BikeBandit doesn'tby ec437 - Community Forum

QuoteJohn Yust I see beer and ice on the moped, so that would be my choice. John Ideally yes, but unfortunately those aren't included. That was just the only pic I could find of the 'pedby ec437 - Community Forum
OK, so given a choice between that and this moped: What's the consensus?by ec437 - Community Forum
I have no idea what engine it has. I'm guessing its a 320, the badge is missing from the back. The only reason I would buy this is to have something to putter around town in so I don't always have to use my 635. Therefore, while I'm game to bang a few tools around, I don't want something that will crack the head as soon as I buy it or will fall apart every other time it gets dby ec437 - Community Forum
There's an e21 for sale down the street from my apartment, its got 250k on the clock and they're asking $600. Should I be tempted?by ec437 - Community Forum

QuoteJose Pinto If the battery is 3 month old, how could it sit discharged for a while?! The six has some electrical problem waiting your attention. But you came to the right place, we will love to discuss in detail what may be causing you battery to discharge, and how you can fix that! That's easy, I've been gone for 5. But its OK, I'm lazy and bought a trickle chargerby ec437 - Community Forum
Department of Environmental Quality! Its a blast, really. But first I have to get my car running. I think it needs a new battery (again! this one was 3 months old) as this one sat discharged for a while and won't hold a charge now.by ec437 - Community Forum
...and I'm taking my 635 to DEQ tomorrow! Whew! Anybody need e30 parts?by ec437 - Community Forum
I just lived in Sevilla for 4 months. Where else are you going in Spain? Make sure you see the Real Alcazar in Sevilla (in my opinion it is better than the Alhambra in Granada, as well as less crowded!), and also spend some time wandering around the centro. Wish I could show you some specific restaurants to go to, though La Campana is a famed bakery in the city, supposedly its oldest. The Cathedrby ec437 - Community Forum
Sorry, I didn't actually lnow at that point. Anyways, it pushed out a plug and cracked the block. Apparently the head is fine. He's gonna scrap the car (or something) and buy an audi. So, literally, this thread is about my brother. He, being dumb, did not use antifreeze, only straight water, last time he filled his cooling system. Portland experienced an uncharacteristic freeze this winter, and guess what? Water freezes.... Long story short, he has a cracked engine block in his 1990 325is automatic.
