Peter, have you gotten in touch with cabinet makers/woodworkers in your area? A good lead would be the local plywood supply house where all the cabinet guys buy their raw material. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
I've seen a lot of that lately. I won't insult you with all the stiff upper lip stuff, quite frankly, this sucks. Production cabinet making is a different set of skills than woodworking per se. Out here they have CNC machines. A computer operator puts the dimensions in and the robots grab the sheets of MDF and away they go. 63 is the new 43. Peter, you still have a lot left and a lby alanrw - Community Forum
Had the same problem, turned out the oil dipstick wasn't seated!!!!! Seated it, problem solved. alanby alanrw - Technical Forum
I was at a car show last summer. A guy had a '71 2002 he had wedged a 325 inline 6 into. I bet that thing was a screamer!!! alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Not a problem Rick. Pm me your address and I will get it out to you. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
OK, I have Molesquest, Bot, Bubble, FlakAttack and ChessMaster 3000 on my office computer in a folder. I can burn a cd and mail it to you or zip it up and email it to you. All you need to do then is unzip it into a folder and then create a shortcut to the executables for the games. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
I might even have the original disk. Let me check. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
I still have that game on my office computer !!! alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Quoterkj [ Anyway, the eta still pulls factory compression and runs way better than its miles show; strong as the dickens... I have a pair of 1986 325es cars and one day I'm switching back to the mellow beast What? Are these good cars? alanby alanrw - Technical Forum
Yoga terrrifies me. I can be gassy at times and I can just see myself in trying to attain one of those over the shoulder half twist positions, going for the last 2" when suddenly, the worst occurs and I am completely embarassed. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Hey, I think I can still squat that low. I can't give any odds as to if I can resume my normal stance from that position but I can attain the demonstrated position. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
I am a big believer in the Dummies books. They always break stuff down to very simple terms. I know they have a Photoshop for Dummies. You might even find it at your library. Also, tons of online help sites (just like this one). alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Wait till he discovers Photoshop and starts playing with the colored filter effects. Priceless!!! This is like being in a Benihana Restaurant, they cook excellent food right in front of you but the problem is you only get it in little increments. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
The memories and life experiences of living there will always trump whatever monetary gains you may get. It is so pretty there, too bad we can't drive our E30's (you too Peter, bring the pickup) and just camp out under the stars (or in a barn if it should rain). Wouldn't that be a bar-b-que and beer fest to end all? Talk about the last hurrah!!!! We could all tell stories of ourby alanrw - Community Forum
Oh man, I bet the stories from the 1800 and 1900's of sea faring men making their keep from Mother Ocean on great sailing ships would be amazing. Is there a historical society in town? They are usually a treasure trove of old photos and such. I wouldn't be surprised if there were originally only a few big land owners who leased out their lands to tenant farmers and such. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
It's funny, when you think of the Hamptons, you think of obscene wealth and multi-million dollar homes on the water. I was privelidged to spend 24 hours in the Hamptons in 1975 as a young turk. Unfortunately, the pastoral beauty was lost on me as I was with a bunch of guys from school (beer tends to cloud memories, eh?). Your photos capture the serene beauty of the place. Great job and tby alanrw - Community Forum
Here in Socal, low riders have a spark plug in the tail pipe for lighting up acetylene welding gas that is injected downstream. It is quite the effect!!!! alanby alanrw - Car Talk
It's photoshopped in that photo. Everyone knows you need a cabriolet to fire an RPG out of. alanby alanrw - Car Talk
I believe the Zen of this situation is that if the engine is non-interference,the belt last forever, interference engines, not so much................ alanby alanrw - Technical Forum
So we are saying every 4 years or 50K miles as interval for timing belt change? Just got thru spending time on a PT Cruiser forumn (wife's car) and you can't believe what you go thru to swap out a timing belt on one of those things. They are a non-interference (piston-valve) engine but since they are dual cam, under the right conditions, you can have a valve collision between intake andby alanrw - Technical Forum
QuoteMichiel 318iS That sucks. Today at work we got the thread out of a weld-nut inside a chassis beam (the one that holds the subframe). We'll have to cut open the chassis beam from the inside and replace the nut... Why not helicoil it instead? alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Good advice. Can't remember if I got mine from Pelican or BAV but it was a perfect fit. I am assuming it is jig welded. If you are interested, let me know, I can look it up. alanby alanrw - Technical Forum
Had to bite the bullet and buy that very cat 6 months ago so I could pass smog here in SoCal. It is what it is. You will probably need a new O2 sensor as well. alanby alanrw - Technical Forum
Rick, it is on the lower left of the OBC face. If you look closely, you will see a small hole. Use a pin or paper clip in the hole and the plastic plug should wiggle out. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
Hmm, interesting Ferd. For some time, my "range" button has been off. Do you happen to know if the "remaining fuel" is used to make that calculation? alanby alanrw - Community Forum
You know, I think you are right. What does the button behind the plastic plug do? I have it written down or have seen it somewhere!! alanby alanrw - Community Forum
You have to know more than that. My OBC always defaults to German and litres if the battery has been disconnected for a while. You have to pull out the plastic plug on the left and hit the button to cycle it to English and gallons. Wonder if they changed that in later versions of the embedded OBC software? alanby alanrw - Community Forum
LOL, glad it worked out for you. Create a folder on the D drive called "music" or "tunes" and then point to that folder. Not sure if Itunes will automatically create a folder but you don't just want it on the drive outside of a folder. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
OK, found it. On the Itunes tool bar pick Edit, go to Preferences, select Advanced tab and you should be able to select where the music is. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
If they are the sport seats like mine, you should have 3 levers, 2 on the side (raise and lower seat, tilt seat) and one for the seat back angle adjustment. alanby alanrw - Community Forum
