Oh yeah, and here :-) There aren't any pictures with these instructions, but I believe I still have some around my computer that I took while I was doing the battery swap*. Nomis, Get ready to replace the SI batteries, but before you do so, have you fiddled around behind the instrument cluster recently? I ask becuase I had this exact same problem, with those exact same conditions. For me though, it turned out to just be a loose connection to the instrument cluster. I figured this out AFTER I replaced the SI batteries though :-) Of course, if they have never beenby Earendil - Technical Forum

After a little run in on the interwebs with good ol' Daniel, and much to Archeo's chagrin I'm sure, I have found this place yet again :-) On two separate trips from Maple Valley to Spokane WA, about 287 mi (462km) I have managed exactly 24.5 mpg in my 1989 325i. This is archived going over Snoqualmie pass, doing at least 75mph for 280 miles. There, that is my first post on tby Earendil - Technical Forum
