We won!
We are the 2009 Targa Newfoundland GT-Class winners. The only team of the entire event to escape with zero penalty points.
Stories, photos, in-car videos, etc. still to come. We're still decompressing.
Awards banquet tonight, then hit the road to catch the ferry back to the mainland and long drive home...
that is so awesome. congratulations.

QuoteDave_G To do that, don't use the reply box at the bottom of the screen; use the "reply" or "quote" link in the post you're responding to.
i always do this, but i suppose since i use the flat, easy to read and understand view, i didn't realize that other people weren't doing the same. makes sense why it didn't split then. oh well.

Quoteducatipasocan we get a mod to split this thread?
i tried to split it and it only put one of the posts into its own thread, not that post plus the following posts. i guess just make a new thread.

The thing is they are 4 lug 14" wheels. One of those things I hope to someday do, if I want to go with performance/looks/ease, is to upgrade to a 5 lug hub and put some 15" on there. So the wheels would only be a hold over... Still, I may ask what he intends to sell them for.
if you want 15's, don't expect to use e36 m3 stuff.

hey i mentioned the steering wheel. it is the m-tech 1 wheel. definitely worth more than your 4-spoke wheel, although whether you like it more or not is, as you say, subjective.

i'm guessing the following is the link that you are talking about that doesn't work, and i don't have any control over it since it is another website:

the spoiler is a piece of cake to remove if you have the right socket (10mm?) and maybe a short extension. then if the paint is bad, you can paint it black like i did

the one thing you don't mention is the LSD. i would nab that.
other than that, maybe the steering wheel if its in good shape? trunk spoiler? cruise control? you could probably buy several things you don't need and resell them for a decent profit.

i think the sweet spot of this lens is at f/2.2. any lower than that and i have trouble with focusing consistently. i don't know if it is me or the lens.

yes, the oil filter. eventually it involved me hammering a screwdriver through the middle of the filter, then using my body weight to try to get it to unscrew. a simple oil filter wrench wouldn't cut it.
Oh, yeah, I remember you talking about that. That could happen with any engine, not just an M20. It has little to do with the car, and more to do with how the filte
