Thanks for the thoughts. Lots of interesting histoy around the event. Most of it sad. On a happy note, I had an uncle on the Arizona that survived.

I couldn't agree more, you'd think, after all this time, humans would find a better way to work things out. Maybe if the people who made the call to go to war actually led the charge!, things would have different outcomes.

War and revolution is the result of manipulation and exploitation of the people by some leaders.
Sometimes, is some sort of an "relief valve" to solve problems that could otherwise be avoided if the most civilized and wise led the world.
