There is now! smiling smiley

I just added a module that embeds YouTube videos, and includes a little video icon in the toolbar for adding video.

Looks like it applies retroactively to the ones you already made links to, as well. smiling smiley

Hello, friends!

10 years ago (almost exact date) i saw and drove my first Z4. It was an M, so the sensation was a bit overwhelming. I always wanted one and after ten years, finally decided to go nuts.
So here is my new friend, his name is Vik and after just ~50 kilometers I am absolutely in love with him. Of course my g/f (and everyone else for that matter) told me I am insane and this is not a "practical" car. But who cares, if my huge grin is back when I drive it ? I missed that grin since I sold my dear old E30.

2.5is 2006, 218hp, automatic. It has some options but not all, so it's also a nice project car. I've already ordered the cruise control retrofit kit and can't wait to get my hands dirty again.

Woo-hoo !!!

Very nice! Enjoy it! And it's just in time for summer :-) What's the first project, turning it into a manual? ;-)

I drove a 1M Coupé a couple of weeks ago, as the tyres had gone already I allowed myself some drift action, it had been years since I drifted a car and I never felt so confident, this one was really easy to handle. The ride home in my 320d was quite dangerous, it lacked power while overtaking...

No, I specifically looked fir an automatic this time, because I am old and lazy smiling smiley
In fact the automatic is very very nice, almost better than I expected. And I have paddels on the steering wheel so I can change manually any time I want (besides the usual manual/sport modes).

Z4 are so sweet!

Have fun.
I can't see why the car is not practical. It has a door for each seat, boot space, convertible roof, everything...

Life begins at 40.

Begins at 40? Or restarts at 40? At times, I think adulthood starts over at 40, first you regress a bit and then you start building up again, slowly.

It depends of each one's point of view.

I feel great with my age, and I value the experience I got from the past while I feel physically as strong as I was like 20 years ago.

First mod is in. Well it's not a mod, the way I see it, I've completed the car with what every car should have - cruise control smiling smiley
I've also ordered the Audiovox/Dice mediabridge, damn - those are hard to find nowadays.

Can't agree with you more. Cruise control is a real fuel saver and in my case, drivers license saver.

4449km, good weather (except for one rainy day), lots of alpine passes, lots of fun. I need to do this again smiling smiley

Main points of interest were: BMW Motorrad Days 2013 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Passo dello Stelvio.
