Nice spring weather

For the first time in several weeks, had a really nice warm day. Got outside and washed, waxed and otherwise pampered the E-30 and E-38. Drove a bit with the top down as well.
Last time the wheels on the E-38 were cleaned, the wife had the car on a trip and cleaned the brake dust off them with a brillo pad. Literally. Apparently I have pampered her too much as she claimed she did not know that modern aluminum wheels are clear coated just like the paint on the car so they stay shiny and do not have to be polished. I actually drove to work without a jacket today!
Maybe Spring has arrived

After a non-winter here on the island, I'll still be glad to see spring for real
