An article on the Northwest (US) E30 picnic was just run in the November issue of Performance BMW, a European mag.
On page 2 is a great shot of daniel's E30.

And his paint job doesn't look half bad from that angle winking smiley

Here is a link to a pdf version of the article:

Upon further looking, the corner of his car shows up on the 3rd page as well.
For those that don't know, he is the one with the Chalk hood smileys with beer

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1989 - E30 - M20 - Manual. Approximately 270,000 miles
2000 - E46 - M52TUB28 - Manual. Approximately 110,000 miles

That is the only chalk-hood car I ever seen, and the rest of the car looks great, so no wonder he catches attention.
spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Today i saw an e36 with chrome around the windows just like the e30...
Some paint over the chrome trim, some add chrome where there wasn't any before...
I guess some people are never happy! B)

How Cool! It's a great article. My favorite line was near the end. "Owners are encouraged to bring any spare parts." ;-) K
