Wow, what luck. I was surprised how large the boat is. Good thing.

That stunt would be impossible if you ere trying.

I bought a small RC toy quad-copter for my son in Christmas.
First thing in the 25th he went to test it outside, before reading the manual.
Soon, he came to me telling how the thing just crashed in a saw-mell near the house and he had to go there to search it.

I found it in the grass, we were very lucky as there were lots of places in the mill where it could fall and be lost forever.
It has a surprisingly large range, for something meant to fly indoors and charges out of an USB port.

:burnout:

Is an old tradition of ours, some time ago they crashed an RC airplane on the roof of the neighbors, at the first day of use. I had to climb up there to recover it.

If the kids master this quad copter, I may end up buying a good one latter.

The multirobot remote control technology is amazing. In Norway, there is a company making military helicopters.
The weight of the unmanned unit is a whopping 18 grams, including steerable cameras. It has a range of 1.5 km.

I guess it is not exactly a toy. It is used by allied forces in the Middle East.

This was the clip from the evening news covering the event, after there was a second successful launch and the defense minister speaking.
