Does anyone keep in touch with Ove ?
I plan to go around Norway next year, I would like to find him and give him a beer

Yeah, he's my friend on facebook.
search "Ove Kvam", when you find pictures of car racing, there he is!

If you can do without your own account that is best. Facebook is one of the most privacy invasive sites on the whole Internet

Indeed, but is only as "privacy invasive" as people allow it to be. One shouldn't disclose everything on the internet for anyone to see.
But still, FB is a great place to meet new people.

And Jaffar, if your g/f uses facebook, I think you may consider to create your account there, or ask her to do so...Just saying. Unless your religion has something against that...

I wasn't meaning personal info but rather something as simple as hitting the 'like' button exposes your whole facebook account to the world! You have to jump through a couple of hoops to stop this from happening >:<(
