I am thinking of spending my annual vacation time at the BMW club sponsored October fest since it is being held at the Laguna Seca race track. Getting a hotel room appears to be challeng already. Might cost more than I expect. Especially if I need a new set of tires afterward.

I am allowed to camp out by my spousal unit, but I have to provide her a hotel room. However she does agree to let me stay there too if I want to.
The event is 4 days of driving events on the Laguna Seca track and a rally in the local area of Monterey, California. I really do not want to put her car on the track so not sure what to do with all the time. One of my sons will bring his car, an E-36. He might let me drive it too.

If her car gets on the track, I will need new brakes and tires for it afterward.

Yes, plus a weeks worth of eating in restaurants. Lots of expenses to have a week long vacation. Probably only do this once though.
