It's been a long time since i did this so my memory might be a bit fuzzy...disassemble small parts by the wheel - just take your time, drive the little pin out (IIRC), and make note how parts go together. cable itself is pressed in - it's probably a bit rusted, and there is some grime so it's stuck, but just remember that it's pressed in and you can pull it out from behind
