I was amazed too back then, and "shit happened" more than once until the Rallye was no more WRC. It was the time for the Lancia Delta Turbo AWD to rule, and any serious factory team had show with some turbo AWD car, the foundation of newish WRC class cars. Then there was Marc Duez with the BMW M3 RWD, hell of a show of driving and gave the factory teams a run for their money! |
