No kidding, I've got a few I'd like back too

I used to have a 51 Merc woody wagon in very nice condition. Sad to have to give it up as I was being transferred to Europe.

My first car was a 55 Olds. Have not had a car with as much chrome since. It sure was a reliable old tank. I could put everything I owned in it at the time. I loved the dash with all the chrome and real gauges. It even had a 4 speed automatic that was incredibly reliable.

Not a chance I'll ever miss the car I drove while at uni: 1984 Nissan Pulsar. 1.5L hooked up to a 3 speed auto for negligable acceleration. Top speed was 90km/h, cos the thing had no tacho and I didn't dare rev it any harder due to the poor engine sounded like it was having a coronary! Fuel gauge didn't work, either (we used a notepad to record litres and kilometers, only ran out twice in 3 years!).

I do have to concede though, that it still kept puffing along despite absolutely no maintenance love for its final 4 years.
