More collectible than ever

A nice example appears to be almost the price of a new one. Attached is an ad for a very low mileage cabrio.

Interesting. But that car is essentially new (I don't know how you keep a car 29 years and only put 4100 miles on it, or why anyone would want to). Also, just because someone is asking $25K for it doesn't mean anyone will actually pay that. That's E30 M3 territory! IME sellers frequently overestimate the value of the cars they're trying to sell, especially one like this that has been preserved as a museum piece. I'll bet it never sells, or if it does, it goes for much, much less.

It really should be in a museum. At least it deserves to be in one as a perfect example. I have a low mileage one similar and it really is a very nice car. Everything in it works.
