hi. daniel sent me here.

this is our cabrio. we purchased it for $10,000 off a dealer lot [we're the second owner] when it was 6 years young
it had 105,000 miles on it, and as of now has traveled an additional 35,000 happy, trouble-free weekender miles
there's a few oem+ mods done to the car, nothing major; just enough to enhance the driving experience

thanks for the compliments. it's been a love affair.
as far as mods goes:

15x7 et24 BBS RZs, refinished by our local wheel guru [www.skipswheelwerks.com]
205/55 RE750s
OEM E30 M3 springs
Bilstein TC struts/shocks
brembo blank rotors, akebono pads, red calipers
euro grille, H4/H1 hella lights, coupe lid, is lips, usa plate filler
factory accessory canvas seat covers, hexomats, coin tray, mtech 1 wheel

one day i'd like some euro rubstrips, factory fogs, and to switch to euro plate filler
a chip, injectors and catback would be nice, but ive got other projects in the garage
upcoming maintenance includes a suspension rebush, considering polyurethane
also on the list is a throttle body heater plate delete and icv clean; painting the intake and valve cover in the process

Looks like you like the German stuff. My parents used to own a S123 240TD (loved that one!) and a W201 190D.

I do like german stuff. Italian too.
Did I mention I ride and have owned BMW bikes longer than I've owned BMW cars?

here's my current project

The Italians are a sensation too, a bit more from the heart, but they don't last as good as the Germans. Rationalism wins over romance in a long run, in this case.

italian vehicles are so visceral, german so cerebral.
nothing tops the sounds that an alfa makes when you're bombing down a canyon road... when it's running right winking smiley
